The Belfuna Women Project
The women of Hopkins Belize have always played a vital role in the development of the community most of the projects in Hopkins Belize were initiated by the women who have shown high levels of success. The Belfuna Women Project was developed to provide employment for local women and it has turned out to be one of the best things in the village in terms of providing visitors with traditionally prepared cultural foods and the Belfuna women Project (Restaurant) well known for its amazing location which overlooks the Caribbean Sea.
Belfuna is growing into becoming the meeting spot in Hopkins Belize, a lot of organizations have come to love the Garifuna hospitality that drives the Belfuna project.
